Hello

I have been discussing the possibility of a London(UK) based user group with various contacts in London HEIs & there definitely seems to be a demand.

Is anyone aware of existing groups in UK? Or do you have any advice on how to proceed. We have a London Moodle user group (and M25 LT group) and I was thinking of it being a sub group of one of those.

Hello Rose,

That sounds like a great idea. Unfortunately, I won't be able to join because New Zealand is a bit far away. MUG (Mahara User Group) which was founded in New York last year started out as a local group, but as it is not possible to meet locally all the time, a number of meetings took place virtually so far. The last meeting on 23 July 2012 was a local one, but the presentations were recorded and have already been uploaded by Keith (see link to the wiki below).

Thus, maybe you'd be interested to join MUG and then have local meetings in London and others have local meetings elsewhere?
