We have just upgraded our Mahara 1.3 to 1.5.

The process we following was

1) Built a new server as the old OS was very old and wanted a fresh install

2) Install the necessary supporting software and addons, including LDAP

3) Restored the Maraha data directory and MySQL database

4) Copied the old config file across.

Everything appears to be working just fine except that LDAP users can not log on. The logs report  LDAP is not available in your PHP environment. Check that it is properly installed.

Any ideas?

Sorted.. we added the following line in php.ini

extension=php_ldap.so
