Does 1.5 have a context box type, or plugin, that can be used to pull data from Banner, from other content management systems, or perhaps from an external data source?

Hi Sam,

You could have the web services plugin adapted to work with Banner for auto-provisioning of accounts, creation of groups and populating them with users etc. It's still work in progress and the API can be extended to include more.

If you are thinking about embedding content that is available via iFrames, you can also add the sources to the list of safeIframes. Mahara 1.6 will have an admin interface for that thanks to the University of Canberra's sponsoring.
