About tag management issue i should like to introdice the possibility to develop a Serch Engine based on Faceted classification as described in http://trovabile.org/download/gnoli_lai_rosati.pdf that is the most advanced way to interface every level of school as it is addressed to public administration search engine.

LET ME KNOW how is possible for the community to address this issue

Hello Tommy,

Did you have a look at the specifications for Search 2.0? Our current thinking is to do that with ElasticSearch which can also do facets. The work hasn't started yet as it is a huge piece of work.

well i not understand,  but they say that they use elasticsearch to develop plugin, but i not understand if plugin is available or not . ( no in elasticsearch site) . who is developing ? do you kow who i must search to ask the status and the timing for develop ?

Hello Tommy,

The work on the search has not yet been started, cf. https://blueprints.launchpad.net/mahara/+spec/search-improvements

Catalyst IT had been asked to determine where improvements could be made, but there is no sponsor for this work yet. Hence, it hasn't been started.
