Is there a possibility to access Alfresco via Mahara? Is there a plug in? An integration done?

Accessing Alfresco from Mahara? Nothing I know can do that yet. But your question is interesting. I think that we should re-thing the way Mahara access external files, from the user's hard disk to the cloud, via all the repository systems that exist nowadays.

I think a discussion on Mahara.org already started weeks ago about this.

A more likely discussion starter could be https://mahara.org/interaction/forum/topic.php?id=4327 We had discussed adding SkyDrive as repository with Shane, but it is quite an undertaking and needs some serious investigation of how to do it, implications for it etc.

The short-term solution - at least for SkyDrive (and also GoogleDocs) - is to go with the iFrames. In Mahara 1.5 you can define your own iFrame sources via the SafeIFrame feature, but I don't know if iFrames would be a possibility for Alfresco.
