Hi all,

Some of our students have decided to display video files in their pages using the 'embedded media' function. When exporting these pages (HTML option) the videos disappear.

Is this supposed to happen?

Do you mean by the bloc "Embed External Content"?

Or by "External Resource"?

Dajan,

I'd guess she means the internal embedded media, i.e. uploading your video to Mahara and then linking to it in Files, images and video -> Embedded Media.

Is it related to the URL in the page not being constructed properly so breaking the link?
Or more likely the media filter not resolving the link to display the player as the filter won't exist on another system/browser. Would be useful if at least the link was displayed in its place so the view could click and use their own media player.

Can you point to an example or send a file upstairs (yes guys we work in the same building...)
