Hi Kien,

Is PortfolioUp only able to ise Wifi, or can it use 3G as well? Does the URL for PortfolioUp need to be to the portfolioup.php file (like Maharadroid is) or just to the main web address?

If either can be used, then I cannot get mine to work and I'm not sure why not (I can get MaharaDroid to work on an Android phone right next to it with the same settings).

Hi Kien,

The brightcookie site says 2.1 of PortfolioUp has been released but the plugin is still from 2011 and the app store doesn't have a new version either?

Hi everyone,

Appologies for my late reply.

I want to update the information about new version of PortfolioUp.

We are doing the final test for PortfolioUP 2.2 and hopefully we can make it available in apps store in next few weeks

This version will have some new feature:

- Upload images and video from  Iphone/ Ipad library

- Record and upload videos and images from Iphone/ Ipad camera

- Use the Mahara mobile upload function ( You don't need to install additional plugin on your Mahara server)

- Add title, desciption, tags and folder for uploaded images/videos

- It can work with 3G and Wifi ( hope this anwser Wullie Mair question)

New verision of Portfolio have been tested with Iphone and Ipad. 

It should also work with both http and https. However we need to test more for https.

Hi Kristina,

Since new PortfolioUp version will use the mobile token as the Mahara Droid, it will independ with authentication method and will work with external authentication methods.

Hello Kien,

That sounds great. :-) I think many users will be happy about not having to have a plugin installed but being able to use the built-in functionality of Mahara.
