Page hits
05 May 2011, 15:37
Sorry- I am missing something obvious here, I am sure. How do you get the page hits to show at the bottom of a view?

Hi Mary,
What do you mean by "page hits"? The number of time that a user page has been viewed by others?
Cheers,
Francois

Yes I do:) It says you should be able to have this in 1.3 and I am using 1.3.5 but cannot see how to get it -

Well apparently I have learned that it should be available from 1.3 and you should be able to see them if you have edit permissions on a view - but I cannot. Is there an admin setting I am perhaps missing?

Hello Mary,
I can't see the page hits in Mahara 1.3, but I do have that information in Mahara 1.4 in our developer installation. It says
"9 page visit(s) from 10 August 2010 to 08 May 2011"
Cheers

Thankyou -yes; I can see page hits in 1.4 as well , but I was under the impression you should see them in 1.3 also. Perhaps not?

Hi Mary,
No, you are right. It should be in 1.3. It's in the release notes. I don't know what happened to it. I didn't find anywhere where I could enable it.
Cheers

It's working for me on 2 independed 1.3.3s when looking at views I have permission to edit. No settings anywhere to be found and the statistics and cron work too.

Well that is interesting Dirk; I wonder where to go from here? My cron is working normally, so it tells me.
