Hi,

Does anyone know how to customize Notification Email for new users? I want to add some institute's information inside that Email. Where can I find the template of the email?

You need to edit the language strings for the internal authentication plugin. Edit auth/internal/lang/en.utf8/auth.internal.php , strings 'registeredemailmessagetext' and 'registeredemailmessagehtml'.

You can use a local language file to put your local modifications if you don't want to change the standard language file (that will be overwritten with next upgrade).

I browse through auth.internal.php and cannot find the entries that is related to the notification email for membership confirmation.

Here is the sample email for the Mahara system.

To: YIP, Rocky
Subject: Mahara: Institution membership confirmation

If you are looking for insitution membership notification, then search for 'institutionmemberconfirmmessage' in htdocs/lang/en.utf8/mahara.php

Hello Richard,

There is no setting within Mahara to turn off the registration notifications. You could make a change to the code on your installation or propose a change for core Mahara.
