Hi Kristina,

We've got Mahara 1.9 installed and embedded media block is giving errors for MP4 (even those encoded to H.264).  I've tried several (even downloaded an H.264 encoded sample clip from this website: clipcanvas.com/a/video-clip-downloads/) and still got the same file not supported error.  The only file types that seem to be working are MP3 files and FLV.

Hello Remy,

I can embed a MP4 file (for example from clipcanvas) without problems into 1.9 and 1.10 when the embedded media block allows MP4 files. Did you check your plugin settings that you allow the embedding of MP4? See http://manual.mahara.org/en/1.9/administration/extensions.html#blocktype-file-internalmedia

Can you please upload your video to the demo site and see if it is displayed?

Hi Kristina,

You're absolutely right - MP4 was not enabled for the plugin.  We can embed videos fine now thank you very much.
