Hi

Is there a way that when a user signs into mahara from moodle they can be automatically joined to a group? We are using mahara as our main student forum but we're finding that the having to click the join a group link is a stap that's getting in the way of forum adoption.

Hello Dan,

There is a way to do that.

1. Log in as site administrator.
2. Create the group.
3. While on the create screen, change the value next to "Users auto-added?" to "Yes".
4. Save the group settings.
5. Now all new users who create an account on Mahara (via MNet) should be put into that group.
