Hi,

I've been making a lot of views in groups (presentations for different modules). How do I back them up? I can export my portfolio, but my group views don't get exported.

Hi Alex,

make a copy of  the group views in your portfolio

Yes, I thought of that. But the copy view option just creates another view within the group and I don't see any way of moving it to the portfolio (if there is, this would be a solution). I've got hundreds of these things and they are quite complicated, manually recreating them in the portfolio would be a real drag...

Okay, I see that I need to enable copying on the views in the access options. This allows me to copy them to the portfolio. Many thanks!

Hi Alex,

I created a wishlist item in the tracker at https://bugs.launchpad.net/mahara/+bug/732971 because I think this would be a great feature. If you want to give it more heat, head over to the tracker, sign in and click on "This bug affects me". Technically, it's not a bug, but that's Launchpad's terminology.
