I tried your Mahoodle guide now on a live Moodle 2.0 test site with master.dev (and not a local install). It worked flawlessly.

One suggestions: You may want to refer to the portfolio setup on page 29 so that this can be done immediately then and you wouldn't have to go back. An admin might wonder whether he should do that or not. If you enable portfolios directly then, you can save a couple of slides / steps later on.
