Hello Mahara community,

In mid-June I started my work for Catalyst IT in Wellington and will be working more closely on Mahara than in my previous position at the University of Luxembourg. I am very excited about this move and the opportunity to bring my experience of implementing Mahara and using online systems for learning in general to the development team.

Thus, you will be seeing more of me in the forums replying to posts.

The developers work hard on the release of Mahara 1.3, which will be due at the end of July / beginning of August. If you already want to give it a try, you can check it out at http://master.dev.mahara.org./ Create an account if you do not already have one and start playing around with the new features and give us your feedback.  Alternatively, you can download the beta version (1.3.0b1) for testing purposes only (not ready for use on production sites):
