Unfortunately, I also have a problem with the lang pack in my Mahara instance. "de.utf8" is found directly above the English language pack in /lang. I left all files in there.

My Mahara.php line 927 looks like this: static $lang;    //$userlang,$lastlang are deleted.

No success after a browser restart and cookie clearing.

In config.php I included:

$CFG->lang = ´de.utf8´;

still no success. I tried both solutions independently and together. I do not get a choice for changing the language in the site administration and English stays "default". It would be great if a solution could be found. Great success with the Mahara handbook, that looks already pretty good!
