I just wanted to big up the Mahara Book that's just come out - I know Dan highlighted it in the news forum but obviously we can't comment on there and I really wanted to say how good it is! I don't have any affiliation with Packt or the authors (here's my review) but  I really feel it will both encourage and support people new to Mahara - so - Respect!

Hy Mary,

Yes, I noticed that on a slide during a Skype conf Dirk Meyer organised with Heinz, Ian and Cyndi,  about Mahara.

I immediately ordered the book and read a part (pdf file for immediate reading). Very interesting book so far.

Thanks for the glowing review, Mary.

It is our right (as authors) to feel that the book is 'unfinished' and 'unsatisfactory'.  We wouldn't be lifelong learners if we thought otherwise, would we?
