Our V1.2 Teething Problems

Hi After we installed Mahara version 1.2 (with the good assistance from Nigel) we seem to have certain teething problems as discussed below:
1. Unzip - All users are able to unzip folders but no files appear once they click on the unzip link.
2. Import - The Import link is missing. I disabled and enabled but still did does not show for both IE and Firefox.
3. Create a View - When the user adds an entire blog, blog post or recent blogs post they don’t see all their blogs. This only happens within IE 7 and 8, works with Firefox.
4. Export – When a user exports their view the images within each view will not display with IE 7 and 8 but works with Firefox.
Can anyone help with the above problems we are having?

Hi Ali,
I haven't forgotten about these, we will be looking at them soon. I just want to get the upgrade bugs out of the way first.

Problem no 3 has been fixed using the patch from here:
Student can now see all of their blogs when adding to a view.

The import link is currently only available to the site admin and appears in Site Administration on the Add User page.

Yeah I did see the post where someone could not find the import link. I vaguely remember seeing it beside the export link in the 1.2 beta versions.

Is this information regarding the import link also applicable to 1.3? (only appears in Site Administration on the Add User page)

Hello Ellen,
Yes, portfolios can only be imported by a site admin when he creates a new user.
