i meant that the folders were being unzipped to the root of their "area" not to the root of the linux box.

The folder structure of the zip, ANY ZIP is not being kept.

Not having the functionality i wanted in "mahoodle", i have ceased using it to host websites.

I am still finding my moodle/portfolio integration issue present

http://mahara.org/interaction/forum/topic.php?id=1280

meaning i am still going to have issues "selling" this to departments in my school that don't have the time or inclination to map out a moodle course to the detail and depth that i find myself doing.

Mahara was going to be my one-stop fix for marking eportfolio's for BTEC's using the "outcomes" plugin.

In the end i configured an crude ftp server on the server so that my students could create the websites.

Shame i just can't find the website that gave me the instructions on how to do it, because it has stopped working now and none of my students can do it anymore. ( i think Ubuntu has updated something somewhere_

Ali,

Never mind, I've tried again and found a zip file that does it.
