Kia ora koutou,

A query has come in via email so I'm posting it here so that everyone in the community can benefit from the answer when it comes through from someone in the team.

I have an issue with Mahara advanced LTI and maybe you can help. To summarize: the issue is that I set up the LTI. But It will not pass the login screen of Mahara. In the Mahara LTI Advantage connection settings I can select Brightspace only as a vendor:
 
There is no option for "other" or Moodle.
  • Is it supposed to be like this?
  • Should it matter for an LTI connection with Moodle

  • Mahara is provider, Moodle is consumer

Did you see the Moodle-specific information for the LTI 1.3 Advantage setup in the manual and use the values in your setup?

Hi again,

It does look like the option 'Other' is currently missing from Mahara 26.04. I checked a couple of sites. It's a regression from Mahara 25.04 and I filed an issue for it. What does still work is that if the connection was set up in Mahara 25.04 and then the site upgraded, the value for the platform vendor is retained. We'll see to get this fixed for the upcoming maintenance release.

This has been fixed and merged into the Mahara 26.04_DEV branch if you want to give it a go.
