Hello,

I am sure a lot has asked this question but I have been digging this forum for hours but could not find the thread,

 Please point me to the right direction.  Basically I need to change the default "Mahara System" sender when someone registers.

Hi,

I just had a quick look -- if you are using 1.1.5 or an earlier version, you need to edit the code -- change the 'emailname' string in lang/en.utf8/mahara.php.

If you have 1.1.6 or later, the email will just use the site name, which is configured in the admin interface in the "Site Options" screen.
