Hello,

Thank you to those who've reported issues after having installed Mahara 24.04.5 or 24.04.6. There were some issues with the layouts and the dimension changes of blocks being written to the database too frequently, even when a portfolio author wasn't editing their pages but someone was viewing them under certain circumstances.

We highly recommend that you update to this latest release, Mahara 24.04.7, if you are on the 24.04 series to avoid these issues.

A list of fixes is available on the 'Releases' page, accessible to subscribers.

Subscribers have two options for accessing the latest code.

As downloadable package

The changes are also available on the 'Releases' page for 24.04.7 as downloadable packages under the heading 'Mahara download files...'

If you use the download files, make sure not to download a file called 'source code'. You want to download the files that have the compiled code as only that will come with all necessary libraries and stylesheet information.
