Hyperlink from image in view
30 July 2009, 10:36
Hi,
I seem to have this strange problem that I am unable to link from an image in a textbox on one view to another view. Although I can create the hyperlink, mahara seems to always display the image rather than follow the link. Is this standard behaviour & how can I get around it?
Thanks, Michael

Hi - could you please provide a screenshot of what's in the WYSIWYG editor, and also the HTML content of the block that you get when editing it and clicking on the 'HTML' button?31 July 2009, 3:52
Dear Nigel,
thanks for the reply. This is the page:

Here's the html of the textbox:

I don't add a screenshot, because it looks just the same, only with the hyperlinked images having a green border.
Thanks for you help on this -

Hi Michael - I managed to duplicate this issue on my test installation, and came up with a patch that doesn't attempt to link the images if they're already linked.
If you're desperate, you can get it from here, otherwise you can wait for Mahara 1.1.6, which we're intending on releasing shortly.
Thanks for the report!

Dear Nigel,
wow, how very impressive! Thank you very much. - I am on holiday right now but will pass on your link and have it tested.
All the best, Michael

We just released 1.1.6 a few hours ago, so you can simply upgrade to that
