Hi,
I'm working with Mahara 19.10. After installing an SSL certificate, images are not shown. When I purge the cache, the images appear, but they disappear again a bit later. Why is it happening? How can it be fixed? Suggestions are welcome.

Hi Juan,

The first thing I'd check is if your Mahara has the 'wwwroot' set to http instead of https

- try looking in the config.php file to see if the $cgf->wwwroot is set and set to http

- try looking in the database and see if the config table has the field 'wwwroot' set and if it's set to http rather than https

If either (or both) of these are wrong they will need to be updated

Thank you for your answer.
The $cgf->wwwroot was set to https in the config.php, but I haven't found any 'wwwroot' field in the config table of the database. Should I create it?

Hi Juan,

Having it set correctly in config.php should be fine.

Is there some server issue where a person is reaching the site on http and not https ?
