Hello,

I was wondering if people could share experiences they have in dealing with graduating students wanting to retain access to their portfolio. I'm familiar with the export options, but they come with technical challenges for students (not least what to do with the file once it is downloaded).

I'm more interested in hearing whether any institutions have setup a process so that students who have left the institution can still access their own portfolio and use it to showcase themself to potential employers - and also if there is research evidence to indicate whether employers engage when sent a students digital resume?

I have plenty of anecdotal evidence that students want to retain access (they ask), and that employers are impressed with the quality of our student work (we use industry professionals as part of our portfolio assessment process), but very little rigorous data.

Any experiences, good practice or research evidence is welcome.

Thanks, Gordon.
