Hi,

We have a problem with the display of some images. They are displayed as the name of the image file. There were no settings or changes in the Mahara installation.

This problem affects several thousand users, This incident suddenly appeared

The version is 17.04 Thank you for your suggestions

Hi

The files are stored outside the website's root directory at the place defined by the $cfg->dataroot value in the config.php file.

If the path for $cfg->dataroot cannot be read by the website then the images would not show up.

Has a server admin changed the permissions on the $cfg->dataroot path?
