Hi,

- CentOS Linux release 7.4.1708 (Core)  (x86_64)

- PHP 5.6.31

- mysql  Ver 15.1 Distrib 5.5.56-MariaDB, for Linux (x86_64) using readline 5.1

I try to update from Mahara 15.10.2 to 17.04.3  [ https://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/admin/upgrade.php ] but update is still in progress...  Any idea ?

I had the error ("You do not have access to this functionality. Please provide the value for "urlsecret" from your config.php file as part of the URL.") but now it's fixed with addind ($cfg->urlsecret = null;) in my config.php.

Hi Jean-Paul,

That is an interesting that the different browser solved the problem.

I wonder if the upgrade was going ok but the server updating the browser was failing.

It could have been an issue with javascript and/or the ajax returned info.

For future reference, if you (or others reading this) have this problem, one can also do the upgrade via the command line.

Doing it this way will show more info about issues / problems and where exactly the upgrade failed.

To run an upgrade via commandline:

 sudo php htdocs/admin/cli/upgrade.php

Cheers

Robert
