pgsql & mysqli

I get an error
Your server configuration does not include the pgsql extension. Mahara requires this in order to store data in a relational database. Please make sure that it is loaded in php.ini, or install it if it is not installed.
It says that mahara needs pqsql or mysqli and the server I have has :
|Client API library version||5.0.45|
|Client API header version||5.0.45|
|Directive||Local Value||Master Value|
|mysqli.default_host||no value||no value|
|mysqli.default_pw||no value||no value|
|mysqli.default_socket||no value||no value|
|mysqli.default_user||no value||no value|

it's difficult to support if we don't know your configuration. Which sql did you choose in the config.php.
The message tells you that Mahara is missing a extension.
