Just a quick question about institutions and hosting.  Hopefully somebody could answer this for me.

Say if i have a pupil in a secondary school and they have built up their profile over the years which is hosted on the schools server.  that pupil then leaves the school and joins another instituion such as a college. does their information switch over easily from one server to another?

 Is there any documentation about how this works?

Hi Tom,

the actual release of Mahara offers no portfolio export between schools or institutions.

Mahara 1.2 will bring import/export so your pupil will be able to take the saved zipfile and import it at the new institution portfolio if this institution portfolio system supports the LEAP" standard.
