Problem connecting to Postgresql database

Hi Nigel
Here's the message:
Not Found
The requested URL /maharaadmin/ was not found on this server.
Apache/2.0.59 (Unix) PHP/5.2.5 DAV/2 Server at localhost Port 8888 This is the same message when I tried to connect with MySQL. Thx mike

Hi - that seems like the database is now working - you've now got a different problem
Try now, uncommenting the WWWroot setting in your config.php file, and setting it to the correct value - I think the auto-detection has failed in your case.

In the end, I commented $cfg->dbhost, $cfg->dbport, and $cfg->wwwroot. Everything started and looks good.

i have the same problem
when i tried to set up mahara
i receive this problem
i hope anyone could help us

* If you are the administrator, please check your database settings and make sure your database is available
The error received was:
mysql error: [1045: Access denied for user 'zam'@'localhost' (using password: YES)] in CONNECT(localhost.mourady.me, 'zam', '****', zam)
