I would like to change the profile feild names like icq jabber and other stuff into engineering % of marks and the grade they got in 10th class like that.

is there any docmentation avalible for developing mahara plugins or editing the code.

i have searched for it but i could not find any

eagerly wating for these modules

1. google apps integration.

2. polls in forms

3. attendence and grading system for students.

Hi - currently there's no developer documentation, a problem we're slowly working on resolving.

Adding/changing profile fields is a bit of a pain at the moment - the appropriate code is in artefact/internal/lib.php and artefact/internal/index.php. You need to make a new class to represent your profile field, see the examples in the lib.php file.

As for your awaited modules - the best thing for you to do is to search the feature request tracker for them, and add them if they're not there. However I very much doubt Mahara would ever implement an attendance system, as Mahara is an e-portfolio, not a student management system.
