E-portfolio's are rapidly gaining enthusiasm as an educational and CPD tool in Europe and this annual event will serve as a focal point and launching pad for taking utilisation of Mahara to the next level.  With this event we are concentrating not so much on the nitty gritty technology behind Mahara but on the question of what e-portfolios can bring to education in general and looking at ways in which Mahara can be used effectively to accomplish this.  The event will bring people together to share ideas and work collectively to shape an e-portfolio platform that delivers on all fronts.

As an open source project Mahara is uniquely positioned to meet the evolving concepts of what an e-portfolio is and should deliver.  The event will be as much about the development partners learning what people are looking for in the next generation of Mahara as it is a demonstration of what it can already do.  So come along and let us hear your views.
