Journal entry time stamps - not updated when edited...?
30 September 2014, 0:32
HI, has anyone dealt with this issue?
It appears to me that students can "game" assignment deadlines by creating incomplete Journal entries before the assignment deadline, then editing them after the deadline, since the Journal entry time stamps don't update after editing.
The only solution I can think of at the moment is snapshotting the pages of all students at the deadline, and that's a bit nuts.
Is there a more elegant solution to this? Or is this going to become a feature request?
Page Submission seems irrelevant to the problem, since the Journal automatically updates on a submitted page, which retains the time stamp of the original submission.
Any insights welcome!
