Where is simplesamlphp_1_3 located?  I am using the most current version on Mahara and I am trying to configure auth: saml

I see saml in my auth folder but I cannot find a lib or config directory.

Do I need to create these directories?  If so, what do I need to CHMOD them to?

Oh... no.  I haven't.  I didn't know I needed to.  But now that I have followed your link... I'm still confused.  What exactly is Simple Saml?  It says it authenticates users but, what will it look like and do for my site?

Hi R,

simpleSAMLphp is a solution for providing single sign on between different web based sites. If you are using Mahara as a standalone system then use there internal authentication which is the default.
