Hello,

We were discussing this morning in the Community in Spanish about the translation of the TinyMCE languaje strings into Spanish.

The current version integrated with Mahara -2.1-  does not include the Spanish translation of the /langs/ js files  and these ones would have to be created manually.

A member of the comunity has pointed out that in the 3.2.3 version, the Spanish language pack is already included as xml file:

Could it be possible to to upgrade to this new version to be integrated with Mahara 1.1?

It would save a lot of translation work.

Hi. Yes - in time. Upgrading TinyMCE is not as trivial as just dropping the new one in place, as it has changed somewhat, and we have made customisations to it. So I doubt we'd be able to do it on the 1.1 series of Mahara without risking breaking things. Depending on timing, we might be able to do it for 1.2 though.
