Just for your information...

SWITCH, the organization providing Mahara to swiss universities, is going to develop an extension for institution specific home pages (dashboard pages). The development will be done by Catalyst UK, and we are providing funds to integrate this new feature also in the Mahara core. We hope it will be useful to other Mahara sites as well.

It certainly will be useful! This is wonderful news.

Will it include isolated themes and transient login page?

Also what about a block for logging in from a public institution page?

I've been suggesting these, alas without a budget attached. It's so great to see support like this.

Whatever is possible will be a great step forward!

Hello Don,

We don't have issues with transient login pages because our site is fully shibbolized. For the same reason we have no need for a login-block. So I'm afraid to say that no new login features are planned in our extension.
