Page Editor Not Loading Properly

Hello I have a fresh install of 1.6 and I am having problems when on the "Edit Content" tab. When I click on any of the other tabs (Journals, general, profile, resume, ...) the options for adding content do not change (stay as the files, images and videos). Any suggestions? It is like it stalls as the word "Loading ..." shows in the upper left corner. I am on a hosted site.Thanks!
