How to make 'My View' become public by default?

Hi,

I have 'My View' template so new user automatically copied this view. But why the default view access always 'Only you can see this view'? I want this default become 'public'. How to get this? should i modify the code?

By default only they can see it because it's their choice if they want it public or not.

If you wanted to change this, you can dig around in the view copying code, but be aware it might not be what your users want.
