Hello,

I'd like to know if it is possible with Mahara to create a preformat layout (or template) so the students would'nt have to create one from the scratch and in the mean time that gives a frame of reference for our e-learning tutors that helps them support their students. Is it also possible to make different layouts for different groups of students? I saw here, that there is a basic layout already made for us, and that's very helpful.

This is a new feature in Mahara 1.1. You can create a View, and then allow other people to copy it. You can make Views at the site, institution and group level too, so different users will have different views they can copy.

Sadly, all my estimates so far have been complete lies... so I'm afraid I can't give you a concrete answer. I can only hope in the next couple of months.
