Hi

I'm in the process of installing Mahara 1.1.2 on a dedicated CentOS 5.2 Linux box with php-5.1.6-20.el5_2.1 and postgresql-8.1.11 installed.

I have got as far as starting the web based installer and have installed required php modules such as json, pgsql and gd.

However when I click on the I Agree button on the first page I get the page shown below, which makes no sense to me whatsoever. (Scripting is enabled in my browser)

There is no continue button displayed in the browser window. When I follow the continue link that has just appeared since I pasted the listing on this page I just get taken back to the initial install screen again.

Even to get the above pages at all I had to disable the .htaccess file in the mahara root directory.

Any idea what this means and what I am doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Clive

Problem solved:

The .htaccess file was essential so I had to change AllowOverride in httpd.conf to All instead of AuthConfig and then restart Apache.

Now Mahara is installing fine :)
