Hello,

We run a mahara site at www.frontierprofiles.com. Recently after a server crash at our web hosting provider end, we lost all tables in the mahara database. Is there a way to just restore the tables (maybe an SQL statement which we could use on the MySQL database to rebuild/ create the tables), without having to run through the installation process again?

Hi Praveen,

I'm not sure what you're asking for here.

Do you have a backup of your database with all the users and their content? If you don't, and will need to start fresh, the install script is the best way to do it. Going through and just making the tables is going to miss out on all of the data that the site needs to start running.

Is there a particular reason why you don't want to use the installation script?
