My mahara was working fine during a month.

Then, 50% of the time, it is very slow and sometimes says:

Mahara could not connect to the application database. * If you are using Mahara, please wait a minute and try again * If you are the administrator, please check your database settings and make sure your database is available The error received was: postgres7 error: [-1: Database connection failed] in CONNECT(postgresql84-1.business, 'hortilanhara', '****', hortilanhara)

After a few minutes, it works again.??

What happens?

Hi Dominique,

Is the database on a different physical server to the mahara code? If there are connection difficulties, or if the database server is overloaded, it could result in timeouts like that.

Yes, there are in different physical servers, but according to OVH, the provider, everthing is OK...
