Hi 

I'm new to Mahara and am working my way through a book by myself. 

I now at the point of working with groups, but I can't create a Group as there is no button. Is there a setting that I need to set?

I go to the GROUPS page, then to My Groups, but there is no button "Create Group".

Any suggestions.

(I'm not sure what version of Mahara I'm using. Tried to find it under "About" like Windows but no luck.

Hi Ed,

You'll have to contact the administrator for your Mahara as they'll either have to create the group for you, or give you permission to create your own.

Hi Ed

You need to be a Site Administrator then:

Configure Site > Site Options > Group Settings > Who can create groups (and choose drop down)
