Mahara/Moodle integration /
2 Moodles and a Mahara

12 July 2011, 12:54

We are running two instances of Moodle (1.9 and 2.0) while we gradually migrate off of 1.9 on to Moodle 2.  If a user accesses Mahara from within Moodle a Mahara account is created for them.  What we're finding is that if they already have an account in Mahara (they've accessed it previously from Moodle 1.9) and they access Mahara from Moodle 2.0, a new account is created for them as if they are a different individual.  Is there something we can do so that it does not matter which Moodle they access Mahara from?

Thanks,

Ellen

You might want to look at http://mahara.org/interaction/forum/topic.php?id=2783 where they talk about a config setting to allow different systems to use the same mahara account.
