Install CPD error
07 July 2011, 13:08
Hi All
I'm using Mahara 1.4 on my server. I try to install CPD plugin from https://wiki.mahara.org/index.php/Plugins/Artefact/My_CPD
I followed the instruction, to copy /cpds folder into /artefact folder. When I go to Site Admin --> Plugin Administation, I got an error message like this :
cpds/cpds Not installable! This will be installed as part of the installation of artefact plugin cpds
Anyone knows how to fix it?
Thanks

Hi Pungki
The installation is a two-stage process. If you visit the Plugin Administration page, you should see a cpds installation link (bottom left as I recollect). Once this is installed (you may have to refresh the page) you should then be able to complete things by selecting the cpds/cpds link.
NB This is from memory, so the detail may not be exact, but you should see two cpds-related install links that you have to select, in order,
Hope this helps
Geoff
Note that the latest CPD plugin code is now at https://gitorious.org/mahara-contrib/artefact-cpds
So, if you continue to have issues, perhaps try this version. Download, unpack, rename the top-level directory as cpds and copy into your Mahara's /artefact folder.

Hi Geoff,
Thanks for your hint. I was careless yesterday. It was true. There is an install link for cpds. The link was under "Plugin type : artefact" columns. Yesterday I just focus to the error message. When I tried to search keyword "cpds" from the browser via Ctrl-F, I found the link.
Now the CPD plugin is installed. We will try it to use. Thanks Geoff.
Anyway, the address of the latest code that you gave me, is asking a username and password. So I can't enter the link.

Hi Pungki,
I've just fixed the link in Geoff's message, it should work fine now. But here it is again, just in case:

(click "Download master as tar.gz" in the right sidebar)
Cheers,
