It is finally working!!!!

I was pulling my hair out(not literally) to get this thing to work.

First, the domain was linked up to the webspace and the dns resolved, but that was not the issue.

Then if the htaccess php flags were comment out, the browser would see it! However that would throw up an error about register globals needing ot be off. By this time, I had ruled out Mahara as the problem. After some research, I learned that mine was not unique, so while it didn't help, I did feel a little better about it.

Finally, I looked in c-panel one more time and came across a litle app called ez php config. I launched it and it had all the settings I needed to make mahara happy! The other alternatives were to either recompile apchae, change hosts or place a new php.ini in  the root somewhere. This took care of it.

For anyone out there with the same problem I was having, see if your host has ezphp config, can install it for you or make a new php.ini file in your root directory. That should take care of things!
