Any chance for a SSO with Moodle without xmlrpc

I have successfully installed Moodle 2.0

I have successfully installed Mahara 1.3.5

My server meets all systemrequirements for a SSO of both Mahara and Moodle just except xmlrpc. The provider answered that there will be no chance to activate this php-extension in the next time.

So excuse my impudent question:

Might there perhaps be any possibility, any workaround or any hack that might allow a single sign on via the "Mahoodle" even without xmlrpc?

That would make it so much easier and with the extended cooperation of Moodle 2.0 and Mahara more interesting to work with both applications.

It would be great if anyone had an Idea.

Hello Steffen,

I am afraid that xmlrpc is mandatory to SSO Moodle and Mahara. My best answer would be to change your ISP.
