How do I see sent messages?
15 February 2011, 18:11
If I send a message to another mahara user, how do I see what I've sent? I can see forum posts and responses if I click on Notifications, and if someone replies to a message, I can see the message to which they replied, but how can I see a message which I have sent and which hasn't been replied to?
Thanks

Great question Rachel
Unfortunately, I do not really have an answer other than that if someone replies to you you can then see the message trail.
Will be interesting to see what others have to say about this as I have had several staff and students in my organisation ask the exact same question in the past week

Maybe something you could add in the wishlist on the Tracker (https://bugs.launchpad.net/mahara)

I have users asking me that question a lot. I just came to see if this has been talked about. One of them said, "I don't understand why this isn't available. It's normal, isn't it?" haha. My reply, "Yeah. I'll check into it."
We really do need to have the messages immediately threaded after sending. Something like an AJAX kind of form. Is this possible?

Created a bug report (as recommended) #723631
Don't know if you vote on things or what to chnage their priority.
Thanks to Dominique-Alain JAN for the suggestion.

There is no "voting" per se, but you help us prioritize bugs but clicking "this bug affects me" on the bug tracker:
