I've just started on a project using Mahara. So far, I really like the system. My only complaint, though, is the lack of documentation. 

Insofar as customizing Mahara, the lack of docs is making it difficult to say the least. I was hoping to create a nav block that could be used by admins to create navigation for particular views. 

I can see in the blocktype folder that there is a navigation folder, but I'm not clear on whether or not this is used in other parts of the system for nav, or if it is a blocktype that hasn't been fully integrated in this version.

If there are any pointers or somewhere where I can find more detailed docs, or pointers on customization (outside the brief dev docs here), I would appreciate it.
