Dear all,

We're using Mahara 1.3 on an Ubuntu 10.04 server in the NOC in the Digtal Hub here in Dublin, Ireland. It's great.

We have some 200 students who have prepared portfolios for assessment. The assessment framework is provided by Fetac, and they require all material to be well-formatted on a hard drive. I was tempted to send them maharadata and a mahara.sql but they're not so keen on the idea :)

I've hunted around the 'net and searched these fora to no avail. I really need a bulk portfolio export function. I can pay if need be. Anyone?

Ideally a wee php script someone used to scratch their own itch, but any solution would be welcome.

Hi Eoin

It really depends on the format you require.  The existing export options for LEAP and HTML are available on a per user basis (e.g. http://mahara.org/export/) and could be tweaked to allow bulk export of users without too much extra work. 

If it's some other format you require that might need more work.  Happy to talk further about the options.

Thanks for the rapid response.

HTML export is just fine, it's just the bulk export that's needed.

What kind of tweaking do you suggest?
