embedded videos in FF3

I know there was an issue with this in Moodle -wmvs uploaded and embedded and play fine in IE but not FF3. Is there the same issue with Mahara or must it be done in a different way to get them to play? Thanks :)15 February 2009, 8:22

Probably not, because we made videos have to have a width and height after that bug.
But we did find another issue that is apparently quite common with Firefox and WMVs. The WMV plugin that ships with Firefox is apparently a bit busted. Microsoft ships one of their own for Firefox (amazing but true!), and it's not as busted, although can still have its own issues from time to time. If you can't view videos in both Moodle and Mahara on firefox 3, it could be that changing to the other plugin will help.

Thanks Nigel - well; you've solved half my problem at least - I can now view the embedded videos in FF3 in Moodle, but still not in Mahara :)4 results
